Founders Chuck Mazzitti and Andy Sullivan founded the company that would become M&S EAP on February 1, 1983. During his college years, Mr. Mazzitti had been intrigued by his studies in occupational social work, which later became the foundation for our employee assistance program when a potential client called seeking these services.
In 1990, M&S EAP cut its teeth on national contracts when the company provided a statewide employee assistance program to Pennsylvania, supporting all active and retired state employees. Over the years, we’ve acquired more large contacts and grown steadily to eventually serve 7,500 employers in 46 U.S. states.
In 2016, M&S EAP joined Pyramid Healthcare Inc., the largest behavioral healthcare organization in the state of Pennsylvania. While we’ve expanded our network, we remain true to our mission statement, providing industry-leading employee assistance packages proven to keep your employees happier, healthier and more productive.
Employee assistance program philosophy
From the beginning, we’ve developed our programs by asking each and every client the following question: “What do you need that you aren’t getting from your current EAP providers?”
At M&S EAP, our team has a passion for customer service and helping people — both of which are at the forefront of everything we do. We’re dedicated to our mission of improving people’s lives, and committed to making the world a better place.
“If you do the right thing, even if it’s hard, then everything works out.” —Chuck Mazzitti, Founder
